What is the weather like on Orcas Island in September? [what to pack]

September in the Pacific Northwest typically has cooler mornings and evenings, but it warms up significantly during the day 10 am - 6 pm. The sun sets at 7:25 pm. Temperatures average: 69F/ 19 C highs and 50F/10C lows.

For Packing: We recommend bringing sweaters and light layers; and a rain jacket. There will also be the chance to hike, walk or go on the water in kayaks or for a boat ride so bring sneakers and athletic apparel. It is also sunny, despite the reputation of this area, so hats are encouraged both for downtime and if you are feeling festive for the wedding :-)

Can I buy any items I forget on Orcas Island?

Yes! There is a pharmacy, two grocery shops, and many clothing stores, galleries, vintage & gift shops (Kristen's favorite) and an outdoor gear store (Steven's favorite) to choose from.

Do you have a registry?

We do, however for those coming to join us in September your presence is truly the best gift and all we want.
